I take a moment to reflect
Pondering about the people
I too feel your pain
Clueless night in the cold rain
Wondering if we'll ever surpass
As I star out the glass
So many thoughts run through my mind
Why is so hard to comprehend
I feel this energy
Only thing running through my mind is why
Confusion we experience
Times have grown intense
Whom to trust, whom not trust
We heard it all before
But so many of our voices have been ignored
These times have grown into a complex struggle
Being so advance you'll think time would be simple
I guess we had it all wrong
Oh so long
Its taking to get it right
Each day will continue to be a fight
